Whether you’re booking an indoor teepee sleepover or an outdoor campout adventure, here’s everything you need to know about setup, safety, pricing, and more. Booking, Delivery & Setup
To book, simply let us know your preferred date, number of guests and party type (indoor teepee or outdoor campout). We’ll send you a quote + our package details. A 50% deposit required to secure the date, with the balance due 3 days before the event.
We are based in Hermanus, Western Cape and proudly serve Hermanus, Onrus, Sandbaai, Vermont, Stanford and the surrounding Overberg region. (Delivery fees may apply outside the core area.)
For an indoor teepee party (6-8 kids) we typically allow 45-60 minutes for setup. Larger parties or outdoor campout setups may take 60-90 minutes. We’ll confirm the arrival time with you in advance so you can prepare the space.
For an indoor teepee party, each teepee plus mattress requires roughly 1.0m x 1.6m. Please clear floor space and ensure safe, unobstructed access.
For campout tents, a level area of approximately 2m x 2m per tent is ideal.
What's Included & What We Handle
Depending on the package, inclusions may include teepees or canvas tents, mattresses, fitted sheets, blankets/throws, cushions, rugs, fairy lights or lanterns, themed decor, set up and next-day collection. Little extras are also available to make your child’s party extra special.
For hygiene reasons, we ask all guests to bring their own pillows and pillow cases (except if you choose the customised pillowcase add-on where guests only need to provide their own pillow)
Food, drinks and snacks are the responsibility of the host; we provide styling and equipment.
No – we deliver, set up and leave the event in your hands. Then the next day, we return to collect everything.
Note some Little Extras such as pamper parties or games packages may include an attendant.
Hygiene & Safety
Absolutely. All mattresses, sheets, blankets and cushions are thoroughly cleaned after each hire.
We ask you to avoid heavy craft or messy activities (e.g., paint, slime) directly in the teepee or tent area, as damage or staining may incur a cleaning or replacement fee.
For outdoor parties, if we anticipate unsafe or extreme weather we’ll discuss alternatives (move indoors if feasible) or a reschedule. We recommend booking early in good weather windows for campout options.
Pricing, Cancellation & Extras
If you cancel more than 14 days before the event date we’ll refund your deposit minus a R250 admin fee. If you cancel 7-14 days before the date you receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 7 days are not eligible for a refund. Note any special decor items including customised clothing or pillowcases is payable upfront and is strictly non-refundable. Delivery within 10 km of Hermanus CBD is free. For areas further afield a delivery/return charge of R150–R250 applies, or R8/km round trip for more remote locations.
Additional Notes for Parents
Our indoor teepee setups are suitable for children aged approx. 5–13 years.
Outdoor campout parties are great for 6+ or mixed groups who enjoy the outdoors and camp-style fun.
Of course! You’re welcome to select from our standard themes or suggest your own. Little Extras like movie nights or entertainment packages can all be added at booking.
No — an adult (parent or guardian) needs to stay present in the house/home as supervisor throughout the party including overnight. Our team handles setup and collection only; we do not stay during the party unless a separate supervised add-on has been arranged.
